We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to support the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting processes, ensure timely financial reporting and reconciliations, and help maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

  1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping
    • Prepare and post journal entries across various accounts
    • Maintain organized and complete accounting records
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
    • Support preparation of trial balance schedules and working papers
  2. Reconciliations & Analysis
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (cash, loans, intercompany, accruals, etc.)
    • Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly
    • Ensure balances comply with IFRS and internal accounting policies
  3. Financial Reporting Support
    • Assist in preparing IFRS‑aligned financial statements, regulatory reporting and disclosures
    • Provide audit schedules, documentation, and explanations during external audits
    • Help maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  4. Cross-Team Coordination
    • Work closely with Finance, Treasury, and other teams to resolve issues
    • Support process improvements and automation initiatives
    • Take on additional tasks as needed — teamwork matters
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by Management to fulfill organizational and regulatory requirements

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably CPA
  • 1–3 years of experience in general accounting, audit, or bookkeeping
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and IFRS concepts
  • Proficient in Excel (lookup, pivot, charts)
  • Experience with GL systems; SAP is a plus
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and analytical
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
