You can use it for online purchases, wherever Mastercard is accepted.
How do I get a physical debit card?

I just received my physical debit card. Can I use it right away?
You can use your physical debit card as soon as you are able to activate it and choose a secure 6-digit ATM PIN in the app.
From the app’s main dashboard, click on the Activate button and follow the on-screen instructions to get started.
You will be asked to enter the card details to verify before choosing and confirming your ATM PIN.
I tried using my card at an ATM, but it was not accepted.
The physical Debit Mastercard is only accepted in machines bearing the Mastercard/Maestro/Cirrus logo.
Some ATMs such as UnionBank, Maybank, and EastWest bank do not accept our cards. However, there are over 16,000 ATMs that accept Mastercard nationwide.
What is the difference between Tonik’s physical debit Mastercard and Bancnet-enabled cards?
Our physical debit Mastercard can be used to pay for purchases in-store or online.
This card is not intended for use with ATMs, since local ATMs connected to Mastercard may charge a P250 Access Fee for every withdrawal. This means that when you withdraw P1,000 your account should be debited P1,250.
How do I manage where my physical debit card can be used?
For additional security, you can also control where you want to use your physical debit card using the app.
Simply tap on your physical debit card in the dashboard and go to ‘Security’. You can manage which transactions you want to disable/block by toggling them on to purple. Blocking will prevent your card from being used for all transactions of this type.
To enable/unblock the transactions, simply toggle it back to grey.
Transactions you can manage:
- ATM withdrawals
- Physical payments
- Online payments
- Overseas transactions (ATMs and Physical/POS)

If the address is correct, but you have not yet received the card, please advise our Customer Care team immediately.

International Transaction Service Fee: 2%

I was charged ₱250 by the ATM. I thought the ATM transactions were free.
Tonik does not charge a withdrawal fee. However, the banks that own the ATMs may charge fees of up to ₱250 for using their ATMs. Usually, though, it's just the regular ₱18 withdrawal fee. Best to still double-check before transacting, hun.
