Can I pre-terminate my Shop Installment Loan? (Early full settlement)
Hi there, luv! We have 2 options for you:
1. You can settle your loan on your own in full by going to your Loans Dashboard and tapping on the "I want to close the loan" button.
Just a reminder though that you'll need to have enough balance to pay it off in full. If not, we'll ask you to top-up your Tonik Account first.
2. You can always advise our Customer Care hotline at +63253222645 and we will notify you of the amount to be paid to close your existing Loan.

I changed my mind halfway through my SIL application! Can I reset everything?
Yes you can, luv! Feel free to cancel your Shop Installment Loan application by clicking on the door icon at the top right corner of your screen. Heads up, this will erase all the information you've previously entered and you can only do this before you get to the Terms and Conditions screen.
Don't worry if you've already passed the Terms and Conditions screen or if you've already been approved! Just wait for 7 banking days and we'll automatically reset everything for you. Afterwards, you can re-apply for a Shop Installment Loan if you wish. XOXO
The cashier did not get the payment authentication code. What do I do?
Can I still get the SIL even if I decide not to proceed with the purchase at the cashier?

The cashier has problems receiving the payment code. Is there a limit to how many times I can resend the code?
Hi there, luv! There is no limit to how many times you can resend the code. You can resend multiple times until the transaction's been done. Tonik Tip: Ask the cashier to move to a location with better telco signal so they can receive it with no issues! Hope this helps. XOXO
How many items can I buy with a Shop Installment Loan?
Hi there, luv! You can bundle up to three (3) items in one Shop Installment Loan. Just select the ones you want while applying through the Tonik App.

What kind of card will I get when I open an account with Tonik?
You will get a free Virtual Debit Mastercard that you can use immediately upon account opening.
We have a physical debit card coming soon (Learn its difference with the virtual card here). You can request a separate physical debit card after providing a valid government-issued ID and after paying a fee of P300 which will be debited from your account.
What is the difference between the virtual and the physical debit card?
The virtual debit card can only be used for online purchases.
On the other hand, the physical debit card can be used for purchases at the point of sale (POS) or in stores. You can also use it at Mastercard ATMs but please note that the banks which own the ATMs may charge you a P250 Access Fee for each transaction.

How can I temporarily lock my card?
You can choose to lock your card temporarily in the app. If your card is locked, you will not be able to use it for any transactions. You can unlock the card in the app to use it again.
How do I report a suspicious transaction?
If you see an unknown or suspicious transaction done using your card in your transaction history, lock your card in the app and report the transaction immediately via the in-app chat or call Tonik Customer Care at +63 2 5322 2645.
Can I use my virtual card or physical card for PESONet transactions?
No, only account numbers can be used for PESONet transactions. If you enter your card number it will not work.
I entered my 3D Secure one time PIN (OTP) correctly, but the website says the payment failed. What happened?
Please confirm that your Tonik account has enough money to pay for the transaction.
Only the available balance that you see in your Tonik Account can be used for card payments. Your Stash and Time Deposit balances cannot be used for card payments.
You may transfer money from your stash to your Tonik Account to use it for card payments.
I tried to link my Tonik card to a digital wallet (eg. Grab, PayPal), but it failed. What happened?
Some merchants like Grab and PayPal check that the card you are linking is valid by making a charge to that card for a small amount (about P50 - P100). This amount will be returned to the available balance of your Tonik Account after 30 days.
Why are my Mastercard transactions posted to my account at a later date?
Mastercard transactions have 2 steps in each transaction.
The first step is when you make your purchase/payment at a merchant/ATM and authorize the bank to debit the funds.
The second step, which can happen days after, is when Mastercard confirms the transaction with the bank and we debit the actual funds from your account.
This is why the transaction is posted to your Tonik account at a later date.
