How many times can I process a mobile number change request in a day?

How many times can I process a mobile number change request in a month? 

Hi there, luv! You can change your mobile number in the Tonik App up to three times in a month. If you made a mistake or wish to change it after your third attempt, you can reach out to our Customer Care Team at +63 2 5322 2645 or customercare@tonikbank.com. XOXO

My cash-out/withdrawal transactions are not reflected in the transaction history or in my Statement of Account. What should I do?

Some transactions may not have been posted/settled and therefore are not appearing on your transaction history or in the Statement of Account.

However, if you believe with all your mind and heart that the transaction has been settled/posted but still is not appearing anywhere, please be a darling and contact our Customer Care via in-app Chat or via their hotline at +63 2 5322 2645.

How soon can I get confirmation that my mobile number change request was successful? 

Hi there, luv! We will send you an email and SMS confirming that we’ve received your mobile number change request. Keep an eye out, okay? 

If you receive any of these notifications but you didn’t make a request, immediately report it to our Customer Care Team at +63 2 5322 2645 or customercare@tonikbank.com. XOXO

I am not receiving any OTPs, what should I do? 

Hi there, luv! You can request for a new OTP if you haven't received one yet. If you don't own the old number registered to your Tonik Account anymore, we will send an OTP via email to you as an alternative. Do remember that the OTP we’ll accept is the latest one! XOXO

How many times can I request for an OTP?

Hi there, luv! You can request up to five SMS OTPs in a day. You are also given five attempts to enter the correct OTP. If you have already maxed out the OTP request count or have incorrectly entered your OTP five times, please reach out to our Customer Care Team at +63 2 5322 2645 or customercare@tonikbank.com to continue with your mobile number change request. XOXO

Can I switch back to my old number after changing it to a new one? 

Of course, luv! You can switch back to your old mobile number for as long as you haven't reached the change request limit yet. Plus, make sure that you can authenticate the request in the Tonik App. XOXO

Will my account be blocked if I enter an incorrect OTP? 

Don't worry, luv! Your account will not be blocked if you incorrectly enter the OTP. Do note that you can request up to five SMS OTPs in a day and you are also given five attempts to enter the correct OTP.

When I link my GCash to my Tonik account, why does it say that my checkout experience will be faster for future purchases?

"Purchases" refer to future payments, like topping up your savings or making loan payments with Tonik. Don’t worry, luv! Only the transactions you approve will be processed through your linked GCash and Tonik account.

Can I save my GCash account on Tonik to top-up regularly?

Yes, luv! You can link your GCash account to your Tonik account for easy, regular top-ups. Here’s how:

1. Tap “Top up” on the Tonik app dashboard and select “GCash.”
2. Choose “Link GCash Account.”
3. Enter your desired top-up amount and complete the authorization.
4. Once you see the success screen, your money will be added to your account.
Your GCash details will now be saved, so you can use it as your payment method for faster and easier top-ups in the future! XOXO

My transaction fails but my balance has been debited. What should I do?

Can I still top-up from GCash without linking my account?

How many GCash accounts can I link?

Stick to one, luv! You can only link one GCash account at a time to your Tonik Account. XOXO

Does my linked GCash phone number need to match my Tonik registered phone number?

As long as you are the owner of the linked GCash account and the phone number registered to your Tonik Account, then you should be fine, luv!

While trying to link my GCash, I got an error saying the service is temporarily unavailable. What happened?

We have temporarily disabled the Gcash linking feature on our app indefinitely. Thank you for your patience!

Hi there, luv! If you opt into PayHinga when you accept our Reloan and Flex Up offer, you'll pay the same PayHinga fee of 9.11% of your monthly loan installment. ​

This fee must be paid, whether or not you activate PayHinga, for the duration of your loan. XOXO
