Hi luv. The ₱50 transaction fee is charged by our payment partner to process the transaction securely. This applies only to GCash payments made directly within the Tonik app.
I have an existing Time Deposit over Php100,000. What happens after May 1, 2026?
Your existing Time Deposits above Php100,000 will remain active and it will still earn the agreed interest upon maturity. However, it will NOT auto-rollover and the rollover button is removed.
I have more than one (1) 12month Time Deposits. What happens after May 1, 2026?
Your existing 12-month Time Deposits will remain active and it will still earn the agreed interest upon maturity. However, it will NOT auto-rollover and the rollover button is removed.
Please note that once all your 12-month Time Deposits mature, that's the only time you can create a new 12-month Time Deposit.
What is the Pay Button?
Hi there, luv! The Pay Button is the Tonik App’s newest feature that allows borrowers to pay for their monthly installment amount due immediately.
All payments made even before the due date will be accepted and will be subsequently posted to your loan account on your chosen installment date. Awesome right? XOXO
Can I pay any type of Tonik Loan using the Pay Button?
Yes, luv! You can pay for your Quick Loan, Flex Loan, Flex Up Loan, Reloan, Shop Installment Loan, or Big Loan using the Pay Button. Hope this helps! XOXO
When will my loan payment be credited if I pay through the Loan Button?
If you paid before your due date, the amount paid via channels (except for PESONet and InstaPay) will be held and reserved for the sole purpose of loan repayment. The reserved payment will earn 1% interest until it’s applied and posted to your loan on your due date, as early as 12 midnight.
For payments made on the due date, these will be automatically posted to the loan as soon as it’s authenticated. Hope this helps! XOXO
I want to use a specific channel to pay for my loan. Why can’t I see it in the list of channels when I click on the Pay Button?
Hi there, luv! Our payment channels have varying transaction limits. Your chosen channel might be grayed out if it has a set transaction limit less than your monthly installment amount.

If you paid before your due date, it will automatically be credited to your loan account.
If you paid before your due date, via any payment channel aside from PESONet or InstaPay, your payment will be reserved and held until your chosen installment date. This means that your payment will earn the same 1% interest rate as that of keeping the money in your Tonik Savings Account, but it will be automatically posted and applied to your loan on the due date, as early as 12 midnight.

Hi there, luv! As soon as your loan payment has been authenticated, its sole purpose is to be posted and applied to your loan on your chosen installment date.
Think of it as one less worry for you, since it will be automatically applied to your loan without you needing to access your Tonik Account anymore. Can I still pay for my loan by topping up my Tonik Account?

Why can’t I see the Pay Button in the Tonik App dashboard?
Hi there, luv! You will see the Pay Button in your Tonik App dashboard only if you have an active loan with Tonik.
If your loan just got approved, you will first see the Pay Button seven days before your first due date.
You will also not see the Pay Button if you’ve already made an early payment. It will be available again after your due date.
